If y’all could smell through your technology 😍 The Mongelli Garden is officially welcoming our new addition, the fragrant and stunning Jasmine plant!
Since moving to Texas in a whole different growing zone, I’ve been trying to adjust to which plants are happy and will grow successfully in this Texas heat- which plants like full sun, (definitely not my hydrangeas) which like partial, and which ones like shady areas- the soil acidity/Ph.. The list goes on and on! If you’re a container gardener you know, the struggle is real.
I’m happy to announce that my gorgeous jasmine plant is surviving and thriving though, y’all! Since I planted her, she’s doubled in size and her blooms are so deliciously fragrant! #HappyPlantMama
However, unfortunately I can’t say the same for my new gardenia.. I’m not exactly sure what it is that I’m doing wrong but I’m now 0-2 on them 🤷🏻♀️ I had a gardenia bush in North Carolina that I unfortunately had to give up on after a year and a half because I just couldn’t keep it well and it never flowered. 😱😩
I’d love any suggestions!
Happy Hump Day, friends.
